Katrine Turner BA (Hons) Integrative Relational Counselling, MBACP(Hons)
My approach
I offer a warm, empathic and non-judgemental space for us to explore how you would like to change things in your life. Together we will look at how you got to where you are and what you would like to be different in the future. I have worked with clients suffering from depression, anxiety, OCD, bereavement, loss and relationship issues (amongst others), in a variety of settings. I have a particular interest in the effects that a boarding school education has on relationships in adult life.
My approach is based on the belief that most of our issues are created in our relationships with other people, and ourselves. I help and support you to explore those relationships.
About Me
I previously worked in the City for 12 years so I understand the stresses and pressures that a demanding professional life has. I retrained as a counsellor because I could see how beneficial therapy is.
I offer therapy to young people (17+), adults and the elderly. Each session is 50 minutes, once a week. We will meet for an initial session to see whether we would like to work together, and assess what would best meet your needs. I am also happy to be contacted to set up a free, initial 15 minute chat.
I am a Member of the BACP (British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy) and abide by their Ethical Framework.
Fees:
£65 per 50 minute session
